SOME DAY I’LL SEE HIM

I did not see the Saviour
When from His virgin birth,
He grew, then taught, then suffered;
Then was buried in the earth.

I did not see that early morning
When the stone was rolled away;
Nor was I there to see the nail prints
And hear doubting Thomas pray.

But I shall see Him some glad morning,
In all His glory in the sky,
When He calls me there to meet Him
Yes, I’ll see Him by and by.

Then I shall see Him in His beauty;
All His glory there behold,
And maybe then I’ll understand
The half that’s not been told!

I’ll praise Him then for all His grace,
And if I’ve won a crown;
When I behold those pierced feet,
‘Tis there I’ll lay it down!

REJOICE IN THE LORD

A woman left her waterpot ---
With joy she ran to tell
Of Christ and living water
She’d found there at the well.

A man from Ethiopia
Believed what Phillip had to say ---
Then after he was baptized
Went rejoicing on his way!

Paul rejoiced in tribulation,
Thousands more rejoiced in death;
It seems when we are close to Him,
Joy comes with every breath!

There’s rejoicing when we find Him,
And when we follow where He leads;
There’s rejoicing every moment
As He supplies our every need.

We can never be unhappy
In the presence of our Lord,
If we let His love and Spirit
Guide us daily in His Word.

A PLAN FOR LIFE

If a man be ready to face his God,
He can look all men in the eye:
If his feet be ready for streets of gold,
He need fear no earthly path:

If his words shall please his Lord,
They’ll touch his fellow man:
If his eyes be fixed on heaven,
He’ll see the beauty in God’s creation.

When salvation is his without labor,
God’s service becomes a pleasure.
To sum it up;
No man is really prepared to live,
Who is unprepared to die.
