WHEN JESUS COMES TO CHURCH



When Jesus comes to church and looks,

With eyes that see the heart;

He doesn't see the way you look,

Nor if your dress is smart.



He sees that little grudge you've nursed;

He spots that hidden sin,

And all the other evils,

That fill the hearts of men.



He sees the heart of worship too;

He sees the prayer-filled heart;

He sees the soul that's humbled;

The life that's set apart.



So if you'd like His fellowship

In church and in your home,

Then make your life a life for Him,

And make your heart His throne.
