THE GREAT SALVATION



Salvation's great, but not because

Of any worth that's mine -

My Lord has spread the table;

I only come to dine!



The greatness of my salvation

Doesn't rest upon my deeds,

But on the bountiful supply

Of Grace that fills my needs!



If I recounted all its greatness,

I could never tell its cost,

Nor could I measure love so great,

It reaches all the lost!



But I can tell how great this is;

And live so all can see -

How that great salvation reaches down,

To sinners, such as me!
