Convict me of my sinfulness - - - -,


Help me to be strong,


By showing me my every fault,


That I might see my wrong.





Then give me grace that I might come


And bow before thy throne,


And confess my every sin to Thee,


And sweet forgiveness own.





Then help me to commit my all,


And nothing to deny - - - -;


Help me lay 'self' before Thee,


And on Thy strength rely.





Then, finding sweet communion,


Let me strong and happy be,


And in Thy strength continue- - - -;


Let me abide in Thee.
