Tomorrow And Forever

TOMORROW AND FOREVER

By faith, I see eternity -
In the Word it’s clearly shown.
I see the Holy City
And God upon His throne.

I know about the golden streets,
And how, in glory, its walls shall shine.
I know I’ll live forever there;
These promises are mine.

Yes, I know about eternity
And what it holds for me,
But I don’t know about tomorrow;
Behind its veil I just can’t see.

I don’t know what lies around the bend,
Whether joy, or pain, or sorrow;
Eternity is very clear,
But God still hides tomorrow!

And yet, by faith, I need not fear
What awaits me in life’s span;
For the one who has shown me eternity,
Holds tomorrow in His hand!
