The Church’s Commission



“Go ye therefore”, divine command;
Send forth the gospel to every land -



Go preach the gospel to every creature;
To those you win, become a teacher,
That they too, may go and others win,
Reaching souls still out in sin.



‘Go YE’, do not leave the job to others,
It’s your job, not that of your brothers!
He, too, the Lord has told to go;
Your job’s not his to do or know.



‘Go’, not ‘stop’, divine command,
Till the gospel’s preached in every land;
And I’ll be with you all the way;
Just GO my child, go every day.



Go tell loved one; go tell friend;
And I’ll be with you till the end.
Go tell the man who lives next door;
There’s no one else who needs it more!



The results may not be yours to know;
But I’ll be with you, only GO!
