I BELIEVE GOD!



Men may laugh and men may scoff

At salvation full and free;

My God has made a promise -

That's good enough for me.



Some may say he doesn't hear

Or that He doesn't care -

But He promised that He'd listen,

So I'll go to Him in prayer.



Though men may think me foolish

To lean upon the Lord;

My Saviour's never failed me

As I trusted in His Word.



What matters it, if men may say,

The dead shall never rise?

My Lord is now preparing

My home beyond the skies!



I know, someday, I shall behold

What they shall never see.

I know, because He promised;

That's good enough for me.
