DANGER AHEAD

When men get busy working,
And try to serve the Lord;
There’s danger in the offing,
For Satan can’t afford
To let God’s people prosper
And let the work grow strong,
Without a try, by the powers of hell,
To make it all go wrong.

But danger doesn’t fright us
For the devil just can’t stand
Before us as we move by faith,
Led by the Master’s hand!

There’s danger in the offing,
But only cowards wait,
While those in God’s great army
Never hesitate.
But forward in His service,
Trusting in His grace;
For we know when danger’s over.
We’ll see His blessed face!
