Jesus is the name of one
Who came from heaven, down,
Joy to bring as saviour,
As judge to wear a crown.


Emmanuel shall his name be called;
From sin He’ll save his own.
Everyone who’ll trust him,
Their sins he shall atone.


Saviour of the whole wide world,
The Prince of Peace is he;
‘Specially to those who trust him;
He’s all the world to me.


United with the Father now,
Through the suffering son,
Useless; my own righteousness;
Through him the work is done!


Saved; saved to the uttermost!
His to own and bless;
Saved from sin, and heaven bound
Through J-E-S-U-S
