AT THE NAME OF JESUS

In the pages of the history books
Are mighty names penned down;
Even murderers, thieves and crooks
Have worn their Nation's crown.

At their names, their subjects trembled;
At their word, the heads did roll,
But someday, they'll be assembled
Before the one who'll judge the soul.

Pharaohs, kings and queens and caesars,
Genghis Khan and Erik the Red,
May have tasted earthly triumphs,
But they'll stand, someday, with all the dead.

Before the glory of Christ, exalted,
Seated on His Great White Throne,
O'er His head, the rainbow vaulted,
They'll come before Him, one by one.

Knees, once so proud, now trembling, bow;
Tongues, once ready with blasphemous jest,
Utter one name only, now;
A name more holy than all the rest!

Before the Christ, whose name is Jesus,
They'll bow and honor Him as Lord!
They'll cry, " We rejected your love toward us,
Now, just, the judgment of your Word!"

I wonder, will those who cursed him in this life praise him on judgement day or will they continue to curse him and his power over them as they suffer the fires of hell.
