HIS POWER

One child, however weak he be,
If by faith he stands the test;
Can show how great our God is
And conquer Satan's best.

For 'tis not in mighty armies
That His power is made known,
But in the courage of His children,
When they trust His strength alone

He showed His power in a shepherd lad
With five stones and a sling,
And through a maid called Esther,
As she came before a king.

No, God needs no great numbers
To show His mighty power,
But only men like you and me
To face each trying hour.

So, don't worry o'er your weakness
However well 'tis known.
For through broken sticks like you and me,
His power is truly shown.
