WELL -TRAINED

At 5 -
“He has so little time to play,
And, he KNOWS the ‘Golden Rule’;
I’ll let him enjoy his childhood,
And not take him to Sunday School”.

At 15 -
“He’s so busy now with friends and sports,
And he REALLY isn’t bad,
Just let him sow his wild oats now,
Or he might always wish he had”.

At 25 -
“He’s trying now to get a start,
And church takes SO much time;
Well, I’m sure when he’s older,
Things will turn out fine”.

At 75 -
Advancing age; the call of death;
He learned his lesson well;
For the fleeting joys of childhood;
Eternity in hell.
