HIS WAY IS BEST


The trial of your soul is precious,
And many’s the trial we meet.
Each is as a refiner’s fire,
And makes our Lord more sweet.


Each test can be a stepping stone
Or a lesson, bitter learned;
A blessing if we choose His way,
And bitter if it’s spurned.


This we may be sure of,
Though we fail to pass the test;
God’s ways are not like our ways,
But His way is always best!
