ON THE GLORY SIDE OF THE GRAVE
He left His home in heaven;
He walked on earth with men;
He was tempted, He was tested;
Yet, never did He sin.
He walked the streets of Nazareth,
And the shores of Galilee;
Then one day, walked the final mile
Up a hill called Calvary.
A body, beaten, pierced and bruised,
They placed in a cold, dark tomb.
A victorious Christ, on the far side of death,
Appears in the upper room!
He walks today beside me;
He, who died, my soul to save,
And some day I’ll join Him yonder,
ON THE GLORY SIDE OF THE GRAVE!
