HE DELIVERS ME
Time after time, and day after day,
With patience, or force, if He must;
The Shepherd delivers His own to Himself,
With mercy so tender, yet just.
He'll not suffer His own to fall by the way,
And to utterly be cast aside;
But He'll seek to guide them back into the fold,
Where they can safely abide.
Though Satan may roar like a lion in a rage;
There's no reason for these sheep to fear.
Their Shepherd has promised deliverance -
One stronger than Satan is near!
He has delivered from hell; He'll deliver from sin'
He delivers from self and from pride;
And when my Shepherd returns to reign as a king,
He'll deliver me safe to His side!
